Christmas Angels are available in the foyer from this weekend. Each angel lists either ‘donation of food’ or ‘monetary donation’ on them. In the past fortnight our SVDP have assisted 65 people in 23 families across the Parish with food, power, fire wood and furniture. They have also assisted the people of Indonesia, following their recent devastating earthquake, with a $1,000 donation on behalf of the Parish. God bless the givers.
Our St Vincent de Paul received nine requests this week for a variety of assistance – including food, firewood and household furniture. Requests came from single people living on their own and managing health and disability issues as well as families with young children.
