Ash Wednesday – 6th March

Fasting on Fridays – The law of fasting requires a Catholic from their 18th birthday to their 59th birthday to reduce the amount of food eaten from normal. The Church defines this as one meal a day, and two smaller meals which if added together would not exceed the main meal in quantity

Abstinence (Ash Wednesday/Good Friday – The law of abstinence requires a Catholic 14 years of age until death to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

Stations of the Cross – Each Thursday evening at 7pm – commencing 7th March

Lenten Reflection Sessions – Living our lives with love (Caritas) – Fridays at 10am commencing 8th March

Almsgiving (Caritas Lenten Appeal) – weekly or single use envelopes are available in the church foyer.

Workers Mass – Every Wednesday at 6:30am

40 Days for Life – Parish Hour Prayer Vigil – silent prayer for one hour each week outside public hospital (time and date to be confirmed)

Reconciliation Rite I – every Thursday at 5pm and Saturday at 9:45am

Reconciliation Rite II – Parish celebration of Rite II will be held on Tuesday 16th April (Holy Week) at 7pm.

Anointing of the Sick Mass is scheduled for Friday 12th April at 1:30pm

Palm Sunday is Sunday 14th April

The Easter Triduum commences on Thursday 18th and concludes on Sunday 21st April.
