A very important phase of planning is involving community input on what the new school could look like. We are all responsible for ensuring the new school and grounds reflect and celebrate Marian’s Catholic special character, values, heritage and story.

Marian College is currently reaching out to everyone with a connection to Marian, to have a say on the new school. As well as current students and staff, parents and caregivers, this includes members of Rauru – former students and staff of Marian College, St Mary’s College and McKillop College, Christchurch.

Marian is holding workshops, Post It stations, and there is an online survey on the school website.

Here is the link to the online survey: www.mariancollege.school.nz/newschoolsurvey
The survey closing date has been extended to 30 May – please take the time to submit your views.

A New School Vision Board is on display in school reception. You are welcome to share pictures, images and objects – you can be assured they will be treasured and safely returned. Pop in for a visit and take a look.
